Does the caregiver drive, and whose car is used?

Yes, caregivers drive. Depending on what the family prefers, the caregiver can drive the client's vehicle, with no mileage charge, or their own insured vehicle, in which case mileage is reimbursed on your invoice. Every driving caregiver has a valid California license and insurance on file with us.

Will the caregiver stay with my mother at the appointment?

Yes. This is door-through-door service: the caregiver helps her from the house into the car, into the office, waits with her, and can take notes or relay the doctor's instructions to the family afterward if she would like that help. Then home again, settled in, with the next appointment on the calendar.

Can you do a single ride, or is there a minimum?

A standard visit is four hours, which comfortably covers travel, the appointment and a stop on the way home, with no weekly or monthly minimum. Many families pair the ride with lunch out or an errand so the time is well used.

Do you transport clients in wheelchairs?
