Privacy Policy

Effective October 2026. This version replaces our policy dated September 24, 2024.

Caring Hearts Premier Home Care ("Caring Hearts," "we," "us") is a California-licensed home care organization (HCO #334700232) based in Palm Desert. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, caringheartspremierhomecare.com, and when you call, text or email us; how we use it; who we share it with; and the choices you have. It is written for the families we serve, so we have kept it short and plain. If anything is unclear, call us at (760) 444-0516 and we will walk you through it.

1. Information you give us

  • Contact and consultation forms: your name, phone number, email address, the city where care is needed, who the care is for (for example, a parent or spouse), a preferred time to reach you, and anything you write in the message box.
  • Newsletter sign-up: your first name and email address.
  • Chat: messages you send through the chat window and any contact details you choose to share there.
  • Phone calls, texts and email: whatever you share with us when you call, text or write. Our phone calls are recorded for quality and training purposes; you will hear an announcement at the start of each recorded call.
  • Care-related details: when you tell us about a loved one's situation so we can plan care, that information is used only to understand needs and arrange services. It is kept in our care management system, not in our marketing tools, and is never used for advertising.

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, financial account numbers or government identification through this website.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies from a small number of service providers:

  • Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location by city, device and browser).
  • Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, so we can tell whether our advertising brings families to us and show our ads to people who have visited the site. When you arrive from a Google ad, the phone number shown may be a tracking number that logs the time and length of the call so we can measure the ad.
  • The Meta (Facebook) pixel, for the same purposes on Facebook and Instagram.
  • HubSpot cookies that connect your form submission to your visit so we can respond with context.

These providers may collect information about your visits to this site and other sites over time. You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings, Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), Meta's Ad Preferences, and the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page (optout.aboutads.info). Do Not Track: our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry, schedule a free consultation, and arrange care.
  • To keep you informed about your loved one's care if you are a client or family contact.
  • To send the monthly newsletter if you asked for it.
  • To understand how families find us and improve the website and our advertising.
  • To keep records required of a licensed home care organization and to meet our legal obligations.
  • To protect the security of our website and business.

4. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only for the purposes above:

  • HubSpot (customer relationship management, forms and email), Google and Meta (analytics and advertising), Tidio (website chat), Calendly (consultation scheduling), our text-messaging and phone service providers, our website hosting provider, and our care management software.
  • Professionals who serve us under confidentiality obligations, such as our accountant or attorney.
  • Government agencies or courts when the law requires it, for example a licensing inspection or subpoena.
  • A successor business if Caring Hearts is ever sold or merged, under the same commitments in this policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. Health-related details are never shared with advertising platforms.

5. Text messages

We use text messages to keep families informed. If you are a client or a family contact, we may text you care updates, such as a caregiver's arrival, a schedule change or a consultation confirmation. If you have asked about our services, we may text you to follow up on your inquiry.

Opting in: you consent to receive texts when you give us your mobile number for these purposes, for example by entering it on our contact or consultation form, by telling us on the phone, or by texting us first. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of receiving care; if you prefer calls or email, tell us and we will use those instead.

Opting out: reply STOP to any message at any time and we will stop texting that number. Reply HELP for assistance, or call (760) 444-0516. Message frequency varies with your care schedule, and message and data rates may apply.

No sharing: SMS consent and mobile phone numbers are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

6. Email

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor requests within 10 business days. We will still email you about your care or your account when necessary.

7. Your choices and rights

You may ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you may withdraw consent to marketing. Email info@caringheartspremierhomecare.com or call (760) 444-0516. We will verify that the request comes from you (or from someone with legal authority to act for you) and respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

California residents may also request a notice of what personal information, if any, we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing in the prior year; our answer today is none. Records we must keep under California home care licensing rules may not be deletable until the retention period ends; we will tell you if that applies.

8. Keeping information

We keep inquiry and marketing information while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterward, then delete or anonymize it. Call recordings are kept for a limited period for quality purposes. Client records are kept for the period required by California law for licensed home care organizations.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) on this website and limit access to personal information to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you as the law requires if a breach affects you.

10. Children

Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

11. Other websites and social media

Our site links to other websites, including our caregiver careers site (caregivingprofessionals.com), our Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Yelp pages, and Calendly. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave ours. Anything you post publicly, such as a review, is visible to others.

12. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. For significant changes we will also note it on the website for a period of time, and we will email newsletter subscribers if the change affects them.
